The paper describes a new sterile products department for Burroughs Wellcome & Co. (Aust.) Ltd, at Rosebery, Sydney, based on the principle of laminar‐flow techniques for contamination control, and tabulates the results of particle and bacteria counts carried out within the new working areas.
