A case of histiocytic medullary reticulosis is reported, in which clinical, hæmatological and pathological details are presented with brief reference to the relevant literature. This case followed the usual pattern, in that the diagnosis was not established until post‐mortem analysis. This rare condition is, however, made more unusual by its association with preleukæmic features of erythroleukæmia, basal‐cell carcinomata and squamouscell carcinomata — a concurrence of four separate forms of malignant disease in a 25‐year‐old man. A constant chromosomal abnormality affecting the G group is described.
