Cardiac involvement in sarcoidosis is a well recognized though uncommon manifestation of the disease. The patient whose case is reported here who had evidence of widespread disease, developed second‐ degree heart block and then responded well to treatment with steroids. Sarcoidosis should be considered in the diagnosis of obscure heart disease, especially when atrioventricular conduction disturbances occur.
