A study has been made of the incidence of raised Intraocular tension in 21 renal transplant recipients, followed for a minimum of five months on prednisolone therapy. Six patients showed a mild rise in tension, which resolved when the dosage of prednisolone was reduced. Another patient, whose clinical history is presented, showed a severe rise in tension. The clinical importance of this steroid side effect is discussed.
