The use of Cryogel cold packs was found to be an improved method of cold therapy. They reduced the pain and swelling in all but 17 of 120 cases of soft‐tissue injury and in all but 3 of 30 postoperative hand operations. Cryogel cold packs relieved epistaxis in 22 of 28 cases.
