Lung function tests and clinical examinations of 36 workers in a cotton industry in New South Wales revealed tnat, despite the lack of actual claims fo‐compensation for byssinosis in this State, the condition can ana does occur. A plea is made for more stringent dust control measures to remove the hazard from the industry.
