A survey has been conducted in an industrial area of Sydney to show the percentage of people covered by the medical benefits insurance. A comparison is made between the Australian‐born and the European immigrants. It appears that those who are most vulnerable to sickness and in the lowest income bracket are the least protected by medical benefits insurance.
