Epilepsy in childhood is discussed with special reference to the types of fits and the underlying causes. Drug treatment is described. It is emphasized that much other treatment Is necessary, aimed at making the most of the mental and vocational potential of the patient and easing the emotional stresses that so often surround this disease.
