The case history of a patient with Behcet's syndrome whose serum contained an IgG cryoparaprotein is presented. The paraprotein contained rheumatoid factor activity. Treatment with prednisone and cyclophosphamide resulted in a complete remission of symptoms, maintained for 18 months. The diagnosis, pathogenesis and treatment of Behcet's syndrome are discussed.
