Three years ago, “Our Street” was a quiet thoroughfare of private homes. Today it is a speedway between arterial roads and full of noise. Rented flats, without parking space, have brought a youthful and noisy population, with its even noisier visitors. Around midnight, when the roads are clear, the sports cars emerge and drive competitively until the small hours. The street, at weekends especially, has become Bedlam.
