Cyclandelate, a drug said to be effective in improving cerebral blood flow, has been given to 11 patients with proven cerebrovascular disease. Assessment of these patients over a three‐month period has shown a significant improvement in their condition, and while further controlled assessment is desirable, it is considered that there is already sufficient evidence to justify the use of cyclandelate in those cases of cerebrovascular disease which are not suited for surgical or anticoagulant treatment.
