Two cases of Silver's syndrome, or shortness of stature, hemiatrophy, low birth weight, and failure to thrive, are described. It is thought that this is the first time the syndrome has been described in siblings, and it is suggested that genetic counselling should be cautious until more is known about the ætiology of the syndrome.
