It is considered that pancuronium bromide compares favourably with the other non‐depolarizing muscle relaxants and may have several advantages. It provides rapid relaxation and is readily reversible. No untoward effects have yet been noted, but it tends to produce a slight elevation in pulse rate and blood pressure, as described in a subsequent paper. It is suggested that the drug is worthy of large‐scale trials.
