Two cases of ocular cryptococcosis in Queensland, Australia, one with papillœdema and the other with focal chorio‐retinitis, are described. Fundal photographs of the lesions, as revealed by Intravenous fluorescein, are shown for the first time. The epidemiology is discussed, and the suggestion made that in some cases in which the central nervous system is involved, and X‐ray films of the lung reveal no abnormality, the cryptococcus may have gained access to the body through the gastro‐intestinal tract.
