Described is a simple splint, for the use in C.5/6 quadriplegia, which is powered by means of the patient's residual muscles and gravity. It is useful both in the early phases of rehabilitation, involving occupational therapy and physiotherapy, and as a definitive splint in cases in which the provision of costly, powered orthoses is precluded
