Pneumonia Diagnosis in Early Childhood. C. Frklerichsen (Acta Pmdiatrica, vol. xxvii., November, 1939).?In 1937, 16'6 per cent of the deaths among children under one year in Denmark were due to pneumonia. The author has dealt with four aspects of this problem?(1) forms of pneumonia in the different age groups ; (2) types of pneuniococcus in the age groups ; (3) changes in the blood picture and sedimentation rate as clues to diagnosis and prognosis; (4) the mortality rates after different methods of treatment. The results in this last division were given in a former paper. After comparison of the #-ray findings and clinical examination, pneumonias in childhood are divided into three classes :?
