eostnophilte infiltration are presented, in order to demonstrate the differences between this lesion and Inflammatory fibroid polyps. The retiology is discussed. The authors are in agreement with the opinion, expressed by most other workers, that Inflammatory fibroid polyps are Inflammatory lesions, rather than neoplasms. The precise mechanism of their formation is not known. The possibility of an allergic mechanism is discussed, but most of the evidence does not seem to support this theory of their retiology.
