David Pamies won the Lush Young Researcher Americas Prize for his work on the development of a dysmyelination test to study developmental neurotoxicity of environmental chemicals in a human brain microphysiological system. The Human Toxicology Project Consortium (HTPC), of which CAAT is a member, won the Lush prize in the Training category. Lena Smirnova won the Green and Open Neuroscience Award for her outstanding contributions to forwarding human-based neurotoxicity research that saves human lives and replaces the use of animal in research. The prize is awarded by the Green Neuroscience Laboratory and The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM).
