Intra-abdominal Shortening of Round Ligaments for Posterior Displacements of the Uterus.?Dr. Mann (Practitioner) fixes tlie junction of the middle and outer thirds of the stretched round ligament to the corner of the uterus by means of a silk ligature. The inner two-thirds of the ligament are then folded outwards, and their junction is fixed to the point where the ligament passes into the abdominal wall. Thus the ligament is doubled on itself twice, and three thickness of round ligament are stretched between the sides of the pelvis and the wall of the uterus. Both
