MAJOR CHANGES in the secretariat of the Australian Medical Association take place at the end of June, 1962. Dr. J. G. Hunter, who was General Secretary of the Federal Council of the British Medical Association in Australia from 1988 until 1961, and at the beginning of this year became the first General Secretary of the Australian Medical Association, w111 retire from that position and his place will be taken by Dr. C. J. Ross-Smith. The services of Dr. Hunter will be available to the Association in the role of Consultant until the end of 1962. Miss H. E. Cameron, Who, while remaining a part-time officer of the New South Wales Branch, has been on the staff of the Federal Council for many years, also retires from the Federal Council staff on June 80, 1962.
