The referral burden on health care systems for routine sleep disorders could be alleviated by educating primary care providers (PCPs) to diagnose and manage patients with sleep health issues. This requires effective professional education strategies and resources. This scoping review examined the literature on existing approaches to educate PCPs in sleep health management.
