«I utgangspunktet velger vi lignelser som er sentrale» «Kjernens» kostnad i trosopplæringens lignelseslæring

Tre lignelser går igjen i trosopplæringen i Den norske kirke. Disse tre lignelsene gjentas ofte – av og til mange ganger – for de samme barna. Lignelsene er Den barmhjertige samaritan, Sauen som ble funnet og En far som ventet. Dette fant jeg i en spørreundersøkelse besvart av ansatte som jobber med trosopplæring. Studien ser også visse tendenser i begrunnelsene for at nettopp disse lignelsene er med. Tendensene er at de tre regnes som «sentrale» og «enkle». The parables, The good Samaritan, The lost (and found) sheep, and An awaiting father, are taught to children and young people by nearly all congregations. And more than that, they are often repeated several times for the same youngsters. This article presents and discusses findings from a questionnaire about parables in Christian education in the Church of Norway. In the survey, I ask why these three parables are so dominant and so often repeated.
