An industrial community and its heritage This paper was given at the Seminar on Museums and Museology in Norway and Scandinavia, ICOFOM Stavanger July 2, 1995. It deals with the process of building an industrial and social museum from scratch in a small community. The author is a curator and director of the museum today and has been involved in the museum work from the beginning in 1985.
