This note concerns a fragmentary torso in a courtyard of Vicolo dei Catenari, in an area between Via Arenula and Campo de’ Fiori in Rome. It is here suggested that it belonged to a statue representing a tragic actor, which may have decorated the Theatre of Pompey or the building of the Actors’ Guild, which was situated in the neighborhood.
