Abstract. The work concerns the procedures for ranking a set of objects whose value (utility) varies depending on the occurrence of the conditions for the probability distribution is not generally known. The procedure involves determining the recursive extreme elements of a set on the basis of its qualitative preference relations under uncertainty. The result of the operation is to divide a set of the qualitative ranking clusters and consequently the ranking of elements analyzed under conditions of uncertainty. The study considered Hurwicz model preferences and special cases are discussed ownership rankings obtained and the methods of their determination. Keywords: preference relation, extreme elements, ranking clusters, Hurwicz model of uncertainty, ranking under uncertaint
