The penalty of imprisonment against women who commit crimes isoften discussed in the in the rehabilitation literature . Many researchersare wondering about the social rehabilitation function, because women inisolation are exposed to the phenomenon of “prizonization”. The issue of bringing up a child while their mothers were imprisoned appeared relativelyrecently, at the end of the 20th century.
