The international research group led by the Warsaw School of Economics (Szkoła GłównaHandlowa w Warszawie) were involved in comparing remuneration justice perception inPoland, Hungary and Lithuania. This article concerns the Hungarian results. The paperintroduces the general theoretical picture of labour fairness and justice and demonstratesthe results of the Hungarian research conducted in June 2018. Hungarian firms consideremployees as the most important stakeholders, so CSR programmes that involve themare useful and important. Just and fair remuneration is a form of intern CSR besideshealth and safe working conditions, flexible working hours or voluntarism. It is a moralobligation, but at the same time a potential source of business case. The basis of therelation is the generosity of the company: to assure a salary on which the employee cansubsist without tax evasion and other unfair methods and feels appreciation.
