This article reviewed the correlation of understanding the doctrine of predestination with the practice of holy life of church officials in the board of the synod region of Christian church Baithani DKI Jakarta. As for this research done with quantitative research methodology. After conducting research according to established methodologies, the result of calculating the correlation between the two variables would be a great 0,763 and fall into a positive and strong category. Based on regression tests retrieved regression results between the two variable sizes (0,582 or 58,2% which means that understanding the doctrine of predestination contributes 58,2% to the improvement of the practice of holy life in Jakarta GKB. Application of doctrinal understanding predestination to improve the practice of holy life of the church in GKB Synod Jakarta can be applied because it has a good influence, but it cannot be the holy reference because there are still other factors affecting the level of practice of the holy life.AbstrakArtikel ini mengkaji korelasi pemahaman doktrin predestinasi dengan praktik hidup kudus pejabat gereja di badan pengurus daerah sinode gereja Kristen Baithani DKI Jakarta. Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Setelah melakukan penelitian sesuai dengan metodologi yang baku, maka didapat hasil perhitungan korelasi antara kedua variabel adalah sebesar (0.763) dan masuk pada kategori positif dan kuat. Berdasarkan uji regresi di dapat hasil regresi antara kedua variabel sebesar 0,582 atau 58,2% yang berarti bah-wa pemahaman doktrin predestinasi memberi kontribusi 58,2% terhadap peningkatan praktik hidup kudus di sinode GKB DKI Jakarta. Penerapan pemahaman doktrin predestinasi untuk meningkatkan praktik hidup kudus para pejabat gereja GKB Sinode DKI Jakarta bisa diterapkan karena memiliki pengaruh yang baik, namun hal tersebut tidak bisa dijadikan satu-satunya acuan karena masih ada faktor-faktor lain yang mempengaruhi tingkat praktik hidup kudus.
