Three germacranolides, hitherto unknown in this species, were isolated from the herb, Stizolophus balsamita (Lam.) Cass. ex Takht. They were identified as: 8α(4'-hydroxy) - senecioyloxy-9α-hydroxyparthenolide, isospiciformin and 8α,9α-dihydroxyparthenolide
