Hypertrophy of rough ER under the influence of cyclophosphamide (oncostatic substance) in meristematic cells of normal and modified glycolysis pathways has been demonstrated. The organization of ergastoplasmic structures has been considered as a process of adaptation to the changed energy conditions caused by cyclophosphamide since analogous changes in protoplastic structures have been found in meristematic cells of oxygen respiration
