Fungal communities isolated from the soil, rhizoplane, rhizosphere, and roots of three varieties of Dactylis glomerata L. (Brudzynska, Motycka and Nakielska) cultivated in mountain conditions were examined. Two species pathogenic for D. glomerata, Fusarium avenaceum and F. culmorum were observed. Then pathogenicity in respect to the three varieties was examined and the effect of particular fungal communities on the pathogenic fungi was established
