Results are reported of two-year qualitative and quantitative studies of the soil micoflora on mown and unmown meadows overgrown with vegetation of the Arrhenathererum medioeuropaeum association (Br.-Bl. 1919) Oberd. 1952. No influence of mowing on the number of colonies of the isolated fungi could be demonstrated
