"Headed" weed communities of flax cultures in Central Poland

Common flax Linum usitatissimum L. is declining as a commercial plant both in our country as a whole and in Central Poland. The weed community that is associated with these cultures has been distinguished and characterized on the basis of 10 releves (phytosociological records) obtained with the Braun-Blanquet method. In the investigated localities no weed taxa know as "flax specialists" typical of the Spergulo-Lolietum remoti (Rothm. 1944) K o r n a ś 1954 allience were recorded
