The intraspecies variation of Secale silvestre Host has been only fragmentily described up till now. To investigate the problem in detail, a set of 41 quantitative and qualitative characters were studied within a population of 150 individuals. After statistical analysis the characters showing considerable intraspecies variation were single dout separated. Some interspecies various marker characters are also proposed. The results are discussed and compared with the previously published ones
