The anatomical features of wheat and rye (Triticum aestivum var. erythrospermum 'Niva' and Secale cereale var. vulgare 'České') were investigated. In the present paper the anatomical characters of stems and caryopses of wheat 'Niva' and of rye 'České' are presented
