Subjects and methodologies in international businesses: a longitudinal study

 The  international  business  is  characterized  for many analyses, methodologies and subjects. In this  article, it is  studied five years (2001-2006) of publication of Journal of International Business Studies (Jibs), by means  of  199 articles and  the relation  between  the  methodologies  and  the subjects.  The results  show  the  increase  of the theoretical discussion and the expansion of the specialization  in concerned  subjects,  leaving  in second plain the most general discussions.  The trends  and implications for the future  research are also argued.
