Küreselleşme süreci sonucunda dünya ülkelerinin karşılaştığı en önemli problemlerden birisi de çevre\udve çevre sorunları olmaktadır. Hem geçmişte hem de günümüzde ekolojik dengeyi bozan, çevre\udsağlığının yanı sıra doğal kaynakların sürdürülebilir yönetimini olumsuz etkileyen faktörlerden birisi de\udkaynakların sorumsuzca tüketimi ve çevresel sorunlara sebep olacak yapıda ve miktarda atık üretimidir.\udBu artışlar sonucu meydana gelen çevre kirliliği ve ekonomik kayıplar, yaşanan çevresel problemler\udsonucu farkındalığın artması, yaşam alanlarına karşı toplumun beklentilerini ve profesyonel kesimin ilgi\udve duyarlılığını değiştirmiştir. Yaşadığımız dünyanın ve insanlığın geleceğini tehdit eden çevre sorunları\udgündemimize yerleşmiştir. 1980’lerin başlarından itibaren küresel ısınma, ozon tabakasının zarar\udgörmesi, doğal kaynakların azalması, asit yağmurları, hava, su ve toprak kirliliği, insan ve çevresinin\udzehirlenmesi gibi bazı tehlikeler nedeniyle tartışmalar yaşanmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı;\udküreselleşme sonucu ortaya çıkan çevresel problemlerin orman ürünleri endüstrisini nasıl etkilediği,\udekolojik açıdan nasıl önlemler alındığı konusunda yapılan çalışmaların değerlendirilmesi ve orman\udürünleri endüstrisinde sürdürülebilir çevre anlayışı ile neler yapılması gerektiği hususlarının irdelenmesi\udamaçlanmıştır.One of the most important problems in the world is environmental problems.  Both past and nowadays,\udone of the factors that negatively affect the sustainable management of natural resources, disrupting\udthe ecological balance and environmental health are production of waste that causes environmental\udproblems and irresponsible consumption of natural resources.
