Müzik öğretmenliği anabilim dallarında yer alan eğitim müziği besteciliği dersi,\udeğitim müziği bestecisi yetiştirmede uygun bir alt yapı oluşturmaktadır. Ders süresinin\udsınırlılığı göz önüne alınarak verilebilecek temel bilgi ve konular kapsamında; çeşitli şarkı\udformlarında ezgi yazma, kanon yazma, iki seslendirme, prozodi kuralları, söz yazma, sözü\udezgileştirme gibi eğitim süreci içerisinde yer alan çalışmalardır. Bu çerçevede 1997-1998\udprogramından itibaren okutulan bu derste kazanılan deneyim ile şarkı yazmayı\udkolaylaştıracak ipuçları verilmektedir.Music Teacher in education at the departments composing music lessons,\udeducational music composer constitutes a proper infrastructure in education.
