Acne vulgaris (AV) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that is common among adolescents. Its etiology involves hormones, diet, genetics, and environmental factors. The aim of this study was to investigate the association between acne vulgaris and insulin resistance (IR) and visceral adiposity index (VAI).
