El presente artículo constituye una revisión de algunos hechos en torno al automodelamiento (autoshaping). Pone de relieve las implicaciones teóricas de'las propiedades del fenómeno, al tiempo que critica posturas rígidas desde la Psicología del Condicionamiento, y presenta alguna explicación alternativa, así como ciertos hechos que se oponen a las interpretaciones más generalmente admitidas del automodelamiento.This article is a revision of some facts concerning autoshaping. It outlines the theoretical implications of the charaters of the phenomenon, while it criticises rigid postures from the vieyboint of Psychology of learning. It gives un alternative explanation as well as some facts that contradict the more generally accepted interpretations of autoshaping
