A more precise set of recommendations concerning the known technique of constructing conceptual maps is presented. N. Chomsky 's psycholinguistic theory brings the concept of nuclear sentence, which is the milestone for constructing —the now named— conceptual nets. Studies on neuropsychology and research done at different educational levels support the evolution of maps into nets, and explain their big help as an instrument for significant learning.
