
El interés hacia la física: un estudio con participantes de la Olimpiada Venezolana de Física

This research describes the interest in Physics for high school Venezuelan students. We studied the relation between the interest and the variables family, school and personal. The students showed high interest in electricity, electronic, modern physics and optics, and smaller interest in mechanics. They showed more interest in physics in relation with technology or society than in physics as a science. We found differences between interests of girls and boys. From these results we make some proposals for the physics teaching and the curricula.
