La sentència inquisitorial de les obres d’Arnau de Vilanova (Tarragona, 1316) atribuïa a l’Apologia… una condemna de la filosofia i dels teòlegs que n’havien fet ús. En aquest article, l’autor confronta el text de la sentència amb l’Apologia…: no hi ha en aquesta obra les tesis que els autors de la sentència li atribueixen. En les conclusions, l’autor proposa unes analogies entre el pensament mèdic i el filosòfic i teològic d’Arnau de Vilanova.Arnau de Vilanova’s inquisitorial sentence (Tarragona, 1316) attributed to the Apologia… a disapproval of the philosophy and of the theologians that had made use of it. In the present paper, the author confronts the text of the sentence with the Apologia…: in this work there are no such thesis as those attributed to it by the authors of the sentence. In the conclusions, the author propounds some analogies between Arnau de Vilanova’s medical and philosophical and theological thinking
