Se trata de pensar cuál será el espacio epistemológico de la Filosofía de la Educación dentro del polimorfo conglomerado de saberes tecno científicos denominados Ciencias de la Educación. Se distinguen dos modelos de discurso, analíticos, unos, y sintéticos, los otros; los primeros olvidan la práctica educativa regionalmente; los segundos, en cambio, la consideran de forma global. Dentro de la segunda modalidad se colocan tres saberes que han andado con frecuencia solapados: Teoría de la Educación, Pedagogía Fundamental y Filosofía de la Educación. Se establecen las fronteras cognoscitivas entre las tres materias y, finalmente, se definen los dos significados que posee el significante Filosofía de la EducaciónThe object is to consider the nature of the epistemological space of Philosophy of Education within the polymorphic conglomerate of techno scientific knowledge known as Educational Science. Two treatise models have been distinguished. On one hand, analytical ones and on the other, synthetic ones. The former focus on educational practice regionally, while the latter consider it in a global manner. Three themes, which have frequently been dealt with separately, are placed within the second mode: Theory of Education, Fundamental Pedagogy and Philosophy of Education. The distinguishing frontiers between the three subjects have been established and finally the two meanings that the words Philosophy of Education have are defined
