The role of the teacher in educational innovation. Some implications about innovative practice

En este artículo se indaga sobre el papel del profesor en los procesos de cambio-innovación. Una vez situado dicho papel en función de las distintas perspectivas teóricas (tecnológica, cultural y sociopolítca) se concreta el mismo en tomo al ejecutor, implementador y agente curricular. Posteriormente, se trata de perfilar dicho papel de acuerdo a las competencias del profesor investigador-innovador desde una consideración de profesionalidad restringida y profesionalidad amplia, incorporando algunas de las claves derivadas de la Reforma del sistema educativo (LOGSE). Por último, se analizan algunas implicaciones de lo anterior sobre la práctica innovadora, sobre todo desde la óptica de las resistencias y los obstáculos que puede encontrar dicho profesional en nuestra actualidad para concluir señalando algunas estrategias para vencerlas.On this paper we inquire about the role of the teacher in the innovation-change processes. One established the role depending from the different theorical perspectives (technological, cultural. sociopoliticial) it is corrected arround the executor, implementor and curricular agent. Afterwords, this role must be outlined according to competences of the teacher researcher-innovator from the consideration of restricted professionality and wide professionality including some of the keys derived from the reform of educational system. Finally, some implications of the aforementioned on the innovative practice are analysed, mainly from the scope of resistences and obstacles that could be find by that professional and concluding underlining some strategies to overcome them
