Históricamente la escuela y la Animación Sociocultural configuran espacios y perspectivas distintas en el entendimiento y proyección de la cultura en la praxis social. Frente al pasado, la construcción de una escuela integrada en las comunidades y en el territorio exige la complementariedad de sus procesos, en el objetivo común de la formación integral de las personas. Este artículo pretende sentar algunas bases para este logro, destacando el papel de los profesores como agentes sociales de ineludible referencia en las relaciones educación-cultura-sociedad.From an historical point of view, school and sociocultural dinamization shape different spaces and perspectives into culture's understanding and influence in social praxis. Overcoming the past, the building of a school integrated in the community and in their territory asks for complementary in their processes, towards the common objective of people education understood as a whole. This paper intends to lay some basis on this direction, emphasizing the role of the teachers as social agents that everyone must unavoidablely refer to in the education-culture-society relations
