The digital economy, which has been actively entering human life since the 21st century, has further developed the knowledge economy. In it, he expanded the need to study the concept of knowledge economy, its content and its impact on the socio-economic development of the country. To do this, first of all, it is expedient to study and deeply analyze the category of knowledge economy. The article considers the knowledge economy as a new stage of innovative development. In particular, the article analyzes the essence of the knowledge economy of various economists
