In the construction of the University of Indonesia's International lecture building which was built in Depok, there are student dormitory facilities. The male student dormitory building block 4 is a building that has been built with a borepile foundation under its construction. In this thesis, the calculation of jack in pile foundation and bored pile foundation will be planned to compare which foundation is more efficient. Jack in pile foundations and bored pile foundations are suitable to be built in densely populated areas, the two foundations will be compared based on the carrying capacity of the soil, the implementation method, and the calculation of the cost of each foundation. By comparing these foundations, it will be known which types of foundations are efficient and safe to apply in this project. From the analysis, it was found that the single pile bearing capacity of the borepile foundation was 94945.515 kg, the carrying capacity of the group was 284836.546 kg, the decrease in the total foundation was 14.410 cm, the dimensions of the borepile 1 m long 10 m were 244 points, a borepile machine was used, with the total budget is Rp. 17,907,451,029. Whereas for the jack in pile foundation the carrying capacity of a single pile is 118927.558 kg, the carrying capacity of the group is 356782.675 kg, the decrease in the total foundation is 14.625 cm, the dimensions of the jack in pile are 0.8 m long 15 m as many as 248 points, a hydraulic pile driver is used, with a total budget of Rp. 13,619,348,410.
