Blended learning is an innovative concept that embraces the benefits of both traditional teaching methods and ICT supported learning including both offline learning and online learning. A blend of classroom and web-based teaching and learning offers access to the widest range of learning methods and modes that can develop student skills and expertise (Means, Toyama, Murphy, Bakia, & Jones, 2009). This paper addresses the use of blended learning in education and its effectiveness.
