Zalmi’s Understanding and Definition of the Concept of Philosophy Among the Kurdish religious and academics figurers, Dr. M. Zalmi has been known by his way of interpreting religious texts. Through his major works, about the Law and AL-sharia, he introduces the current and classical detentions of Philosophy in the relation to religious texts. After evaluating and. criticizing most well-known definitions, he introduces his own definition He thinks that any definition of Philosophy should be related to its task and relation to the Al-Sharia goals. Therefore, he uses the word ‘philosophy’ as a tool for the Al-Sharia rules and demands. Because that both Sharia as well as the philosophy has one aims: serving the wellbeing and happiness of humanity.
